Center for Humans and Nature

The Center for Humans and Nature seeks to dismantle cultural structures built on racism, White supremacy, and the exploitation of Black people, Indigenous people, and People of Color. Within the tangle of racism, inequality, violence, environmental degradation, toxic individualism, and unethical economics, we celebrate and affirm life-sustaining processes and relationships.

Living Resilience

We are living in times of global collapse of Earth and Human systems. Humanity, particularly those of privilege, wealth and power, is still reluctant to be fully aware of this collapse, much less to be responsible for it. The calling of our times is to reconnect with the sources of meaning and belonging in human life – sources and sensitivities we have all forfeited in order to participate in and benefit from, our Business as Usual Human Operating System.
The Pocket Project

The Pocket Project is committed to offering opportunities for us to relate and practice our tools and the ‘superpowers’ to meet life more fully together. Our presence, relatedness and compassion are needed to activate the healthy response mechanisms of our global immune system.
Only when we know our darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity.
